Vision & Mission
Vision: To transform Kenya into a fully developed, devolved, modern-day, and wealthy country. A prosperous country united in the pursuit of joy where every Kenyan resident has an equal and fair chance to succeed.
Mission: To enable a platform for all Kenyans to be involved in the transformation of their country, encouraging, empowering, and harnessing the spirit of working together towards prosperity. Promoting fundamentals like good health, transparency, accountability, inclusivity, economic empowerment, service, industrialization, jobs, and goodwill to all Kenyans irrespective of their affiliation or origin.
Sustainable Agriculture
Challenges: Declining land sizes, depletion of soil fertility, and poor yields are pushing Kenya from being food secure to an unreliable place that cannot sustain itself.
Solutions:
- Farmers' mobilization and organization into agricultural development fora.
- Hands-on training and exposure in all aspects of agriculture (production, processing, marketing).
- Training and supporting farmer groups in creating a savings and credit culture.
- Documentation of sustainable agriculture principles to inform policies.
- Networking with government institutions, NGOs, and funders committed to sustainable development.
Jobs, Trade, and Manufacturing
Focus Areas: Formalizing informal employment sectors, expanding the tax base, and creating jobs.
- Classification of workgroups to ensure all vacancies are registered with the government.
- Formalizing the Jua Kali industry through registration and appropriate taxation.
- Expanding the tax base to include previously untaxed sectors.
- Providing social protection for selected groups as determined by the state.
Fiscal Policy
Objectives: Ensuring fiscal discipline, efficient revenue mobilization, and prudent expenditure.
- Disciplined budgeting and synchronization of budget cycles.
- Comprehensive public expenditure reviews to benchmark core government functions.
- Value-for-money audits and impact evaluations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Bringing off-budget revenues and expenditures on-budget for transparency.
Education Sector Reviews
Goals: Bridging regional disparities in education and reforming curricula to meet market demands.
- Ensuring 100% transition from higher learning institutions to employment for marginalized areas.
- Awarding higher bursaries to marginalized regions and reducing bursaries in over-educated areas.
- Building more schools and transferring skilled human resources to under-educated regions.
- Nationalizing universities, colleges, and polytechnics under public ownership for standardized testing.
Youth and Women Agenda
Priorities: Empowering young people through entrepreneurship, health programs, and civic participation.
- Involving youth in agro-produce, value addition, and livestock markets.
- Providing agricultural inputs, machinery, and equipment to youth.
- Increasing access to finance, grants, and capital for young entrepreneurs.
- Enabling equitable access to quality skills and education at all levels.
Healthcare Development
Objective: Universal access to affordable healthcare and strengthening primary healthcare systems.
- Employing and paying community health workers as part of the Primary Health Care system.
- Prioritizing employment of healthcare workers to meet WHO recommendations.
- Setting up an emergency medical treatment fund for cancer treatment and referrals.
- Harmonizing terms of employment for all healthcare workers.
Community Empowerment
Focus Areas: Promoting home ownership, social services, and civic engagement.
- Creating green spaces and parks in communities.
- Establishing neighborhood watch programs for safety.
- Supporting single-parent programs with after-school support for children.
- Providing recreational facilities and building strong families.
Economic Development
Strategy: Diversifying the economy beyond tourism and encouraging financial services, manufacturing, and agricultural innovation.
- Unlocking access to capital for small businesses, especially those owned by women and youth.
- Cutting red tape and reducing barriers for small businesses.
- Promoting local music production, marketing, and distribution.
- Reviving dormant development projects and repositioning the economy for growth.
